Monorail -The monorail is under refurbishment and may have modified service or routes depending on park hours. You should check on the day of travel the best option to use. Alternative transportation options may be available.

  • Star Wars- A Galaxy Far- Far Away closed 9/13/2017- 9/27/2017
  • The Cruz Ramirez meet and greet in Pixar Place will be closed on September 5 and will reopen on September 12. The meet and greet will be temporarily undergoing refurbishment.


Disney Springs

  • La Nouba by Cirque du Soleil will have its final performance 12/31/2017
  • Portobello Country Italian Trattoria closed 4/23/2017- Fall 2017
  • Jan 15, 2018 to Feb 14, 2018 - The American Adventure closed for refurbishment

Resort Renovations Scheduled

  • Art of Animation Resort - The Big Blue Pool closed for refurbishment Jan 6-9,2018.  Flippin' Fins Pool closed for refurbishment Jan 31-Feb 22, 2018.  Walt Disney World has embarked on creating a new transportation system, Disney Skyliner, which will give Guests a bird's-eye view of Walt Disney World Resort while traveling via gondolas. During this time construction noise may be seen or heard throughout the resort, but noise should not be heard from Guest rooms between dusk and 9am.
  • Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge - Kidani Village - Samawati Springs pool at Kidani Village closed for refurbishment Jan 08, 2018 to Jan 19, 2018
  • Disney's Beach Club Resort- Expansion work on the Convention Center 8/4/2016 - 2/1/2018. Guests may see work or hear the work in progress and certain pathways may be unavailable. Work will be conducted 9 AM to 9 PM.
  • Disney's BoardWalk Villas- The resort is currently undergoing some refurbishment projects. The Resort will be in full operation with all amenities available. It is possible that construction may be seen or heard, but noise should not be heard from Guest rooms between dusk and 9 AM.
  • Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort- The resort will be undergoing many refurbishment projects for 2 years. Several villages within the resort will not be available. Old Port Royale Food Court, Shutters at Old Port Royale, Cabana Pool Bar and Calypso Trading Post will be closed starting 5/2017- through 2018. There will be a variety of dining options available for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Centertown will serve breakfast and dinner and a selection of grab-and-go meals will be conveniently available for purchase in three island markets located in the Aruba, Jamaica and Martinique regions of the Resort.   • Disney's Coronado Springs Resort The resort will be undergoing many refurbishment projects starting 1/2017 for two years. Hard Good refurbishment through 2017.
  • Disney's Grand Floridian- Beach Pool and Beaches Pool Bar closed for furbishment
  • Disney's Old Key West- 8/1/2017- 6/28/2018- Guests may see or hear work in progress and certain pathways may be unavailable. During this time, the Resort will be in full operation with all amenities available including dining and merchandise locations, pools, and recreation activities. It is possible that construction may be seen or heard, but noise should not be heard from Guest rooms between dusk and 9:00 am.
  • Disney's Port Orleans French Quarter- Room Refurbishments Jan 06, 2018 to May 31, 2018

  • Disney's Yacht Club Resort- Expansion work on the Convention Center 8/4/2016 - 2/1/2018. Guests may see work or hear the work in progress and certain pathways may be unavailable. Work will be conducted 9 AM to 9 PM. Captain's Grille closed 5/25/2017 - 9/30/2017. They will be relocating to Ariel's. Ale and Compass Lounge also closed.
